Assassin's Creed Introduces Surprising AoT Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected collaboration that defies conventional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Revealed
According to the official statement, "A mysterious confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of forbidden practices and fearsome metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine group.
The mission concentrates on "strange experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Changes
The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer ends with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Rewards and Extra Content
Players who accomplish the adventure will obtain an unique katana alongside several items hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
